DEADLY WATER (v1.1.4)
======================
Water hurts. Players and most land mobs take damage from water and rain.

HOW TO INSTALL
--------------
1. Open DeadlyWater.mcaddon (Minecraft imports it automatically).
2. Create or edit a world. Under Behavior Packs, activate "Deadly Water".
3. Nothing else needs turning on for the main features.

WHAT IT DOES
------------
- Standing/wading in water: 1 damage per second
- Swimming or head underwater: 2 damage per second
- Rain on anything under open sky: 1 damage every 2 seconds
- Sitting in a boat (or on a mount) in water: no contact damage. Head underwater still hurts.
- Drinking a Water Bottle: 2 damage once
- Hit by a splashed Water Bottle (within about 4 blocks): 2 damage once
- Lingering Water Bottle: a 30-second cloud (3 block radius, shrinking) that deals 1 damage per second to anyone inside
- Creative and spectator players are not hurt.
- Damage is applied at most once per second per entity, so it stays light on the game.

ARMOR BALANCE
-------------
- No armor at all: 50% MORE damage than the numbers above.
- Each armor point cuts damage by 4% (full iron = 60% less, full diamond/netherite = 80% less).
- Damage never drops below 0.25, so water always hurts a bit.
- Works for players and for mobs wearing armor. All numbers are in config.js.

WHO IS IMMUNE
-------------
Fish, squid, dolphins, turtles, axolotls, tadpoles, frogs, guardians, drowned.
Also endermen, snow golems, blazes and striders (vanilla already hurts them in water).
Give anything the tag "deadlywater_immune" to make it immune:
   /tag @s add deadlywater_immune

CHANGING SETTINGS
-----------------
Open scripts/config.js in any text editor. Every setting has a comment.
(A .mcaddon is a zip file: rename to .zip, edit, rename back.)

KNOWN LIMITS (honest list)
--------------------------
1. Drinking and splashing Water Bottles need Minecraft with @minecraft/server 2.4.0
or newer (this pack already asks for it). Potions thrown by dispensers are not
detected, only ones thrown by players. Projectile event identifiers can vary by
Bedrock version, so test splash and lingering water bottles in your target version.
If a splash lands on nothing (falls into the void), it is ignored.
2. Rain applies in every biome. Vanilla does not rain in deserts or fall as rain in
snowy biomes, but the script cannot read biomes on stable APIs.
3. "Exposed to rain" means no block above the head. Leaves, glass, and other overhead blocks count as cover.
4. Water shown as bubble columns or in cauldrons is not counted.
5. Water damage shows as drowning, rain and potions as magic, in death messages.
Both ignore vanilla armor, so the armor scaling above is the only armor effect.
6. Mods or add-ons that add their own aquatic mobs are not exempt unless you add
their ids to IMMUNE_TYPES in config.js or tag them.
7. Mobs far from any player are not loaded, so they are not damaged either.
