Biome Roulette Hardcore takes the shifting-chunk concept to an extreme level. You are stranded in the void on a mutating chunk that rotates through every single biome in the game. Fall off the edge, suffocate during a chunk swap, or get taken out by a Nether mob, and your run is permanently over.

Hardcore Rules & Mechanics

• Permadeath Enabled: You have exactly 1 life. Dying instantly locks you into Spectator Mode.
• Locked Difficulty: Locked strictly to Hard Difficulty with natural regeneration mechanics enabled.
• 65 Dangerous Biomes:
  • 54 Overworld Biomes: Including Deep Dark (Warden risk), freezing Powder Snow peaks, and rugged badlands.
  • 5 Nether Biomes: Sudden lava pockets, Piglin brutes, and deadly drops.
  • 6 End/Void Variations: Low gravity void jumps, shulker hazards, and Endermen swarms.
• Zero Second Chances: Mobs spawned inside the rotating chunk will not despawn automatically—eliminate them or get overrun.

Survival Strategy Guide

• Keep Your Distance: When the shifting warning appears on your action bar, back up immediately to your safe outer bridge.
• Bridge Quickly: The core 16x16 chunk wipes every cycle. Your priority in Cycle 1 is securing wood to bridge at least 10 blocks away from the mutation zone.
• Manage Hostile Spawns: Nether and dark cave biomes will spawn aggressive mobs instantly at night. Always keep light sources placed on your external platforms.
• Void Insurance: Keep water buckets and pearl backups ready at all times.
