🤖 【NEW】How to Use the Discord Bot

By using the Discord bot, you can talk and manage Proximity VC directly on Discord without opening a browser. Add Bot to Server

1. Start Proximity VC via Discord Bot

Simply run the /start command in your Discord server to start a new Proximity VC room (session).

• distance: Specify the maximum hearing distance (can be changed later).directly via Discord bot without opening a browser!
• room_id: Optionally specify a custom room ID.
• config: Launch using settings applied from an uploaded file.

Afterward, follow the Connection Guide to connect with Minecraft.

2. Connect via Discord Bot

To join an existing Proximity VC, run the /join command on Discord.

• room_id: Specify the target room ID to connect to.
• name: Specify your name (such as your Gamertag).
• Note: You must join the voice channel the bot is in beforehand.

💡 Simultaneous Use & Other Usage Notes Each bot instance can support up to 1 user per server. If multiple people want to use it simultaneously, please add another bot to a different channel, or use the Web/App versions.

Note: If using on version 1.21.60 or later, the world owner must enable "Websockets Enabled".

Note:If the command executor is using a smartphone, please join the VC first. At this time, the verification code cannot be used.

🎧 How to Join the Call (For all participants)

1. Access: https://mcproxvc.ovh/connect/
   (The Android app version is available here.)
   Accessing the URL displayed during setup will automatically fill in the Room ID.
   Enter the Room ID and Gamertag, then connect.
   

2. Enter the room ID and gamertag, then connect.
   Room ID
   Enter the Room ID that was displayed during setup.

   Gamertag
   This is usually your Gamertag, but it might be different in some cases.
   Note: Both can be checked by typing /name in-game (or !name if no addon is installed).

If you see a screen like this, you are successfully connected.

❓ Known Issues and Solutions

・"I can't hear audio" or "I can hear others even when far away": Please leave the call and reconnect.
・If you are using Discord and the web call on the same mobile device: Please leave the Discord call before joining the web call.

• On iPhone, issues may occur when the device enters sleep mode:
  ・Change your settings to prevent the device from sleeping.
  ・If it does go to sleep, reconnect to the call.
• On some devices, the microphone may not work if you connect to the call and then open Minecraft on the same device:
  ・For iPhone: Open Minecraft -> Open your browser and connect to the VC -> Re-open Minecraft and enter the world.
  ・For Android: Use the app.
