Bring more life to the snow in Minecraft Bedrock Edition!

Snow Physics adds a dynamic touch to Minecraft's snowy environments. Instead of snow layers remaining untouched as you walk over them, this addon makes snow react to the movement of players and living mobs.

Explore snowy forests, climb frozen mountains, or walk through a winter village and watch the snow change as entities move across it.

 ● Dynamic Snow Compression: Snow layers become thinner when players or living mobs walk across      them.

 ● Snow Displacement: Snow can shift sideways onto nearby snow layers or suitable empty spaces.

 ● Living Mob Interaction: The system also works with living mobs, making snowy environments feel more dynamic.

 ● Lightweight Script: Entity checks run at regular intervals instead of every single game tick.

🎮 How It Works

  1. Walk across naturally generated or placed snow layers.

  2. As you move into new block positions, the addon checks for snow beneath you.

  3. The snow layer loses height.

  4. Some snow may be displaced to a neighboring location.

The result is a more interactive snowy landscape that adds extra detail to survival gameplay and winter-themed worlds.

📦 Installation

  1. Download the .mcpack file.

  2. Open it with Minecraft Bedrock Edition to import the addon.

  3. Activate the imported behavior pack in your world's settings.

How to install

  1. Download the file below. On iOS or Android, open it from your Downloads with Minecraft; on Windows, double-click it.
  2. Minecraft imports the pack automatically. Enable it in your world’s settings under Behavior Packs or Resource Packs; an add-on usually needs both.
  3. Playing on a Realm or server? Everyone needs the same packs, and the host has to enable them.
  4. Starting a new world? Choose its seed first: the Seed Map shows villages, structures and biomes near spawn for any Bedrock seed.
