Village at Spawn Seeds
A village within 250 blocks of spawn.
A village next to spawn is the easiest start there is: beds for the first night, food in the farms, and chests with tools or bread before you have crafted anything. Every seed below has a village within 250 blocks of where you appear, which is a short walk.
The list is sorted by seed score, so the seeds at the top also have good land, more structures and some rarer biomes nearby, not only the village.
Java 26.3 seeds
Village at spawn matched about 1 in 6 random seeds we checked; these are the 9 with the best seed score.
Bedrock 26.3 seeds
Village at spawn matched about 1 in 6 random seeds we checked; these are the 9 with the best seed score.
First things to do
- Grab the beds first. Sleeping through the first night skips the most dangerous part of a new world.
- Check the blacksmith or toolsmith chest if the village has one; iron tools on day one change the pace of everything.
- Light up the village before night so a zombie siege does not wipe out the villagers you want to trade with later.
How these seeds were found
We ran our seed finder over random seeds with this exact quick pick, using the same world generator as the seed map, and kept the matches with the highest seed score. Every coordinate on this page comes from that check, for 26.3. Older or newer versions can place things differently, so check a seed on the map for your version. Last updated 2026-11-02.
Questions
Is the village really at spawn?
Within 250 blocks of the world spawn point, measured straight-line from spawn to the village start. On Java the spawn is exact; on Bedrock it is our estimate, so you may appear a little to one side.
Will the village look the same in my world?
Yes if you use the same edition and version (26.3 here). Village type follows the biome, so a desert village stays a desert village.
