How to use the Igloo Finder
Igloos generate in snowy plains and snowy taiga. About half of them have a trapdoor under the carpet leading to a basement with a brewing stand, a villager and a zombie villager to cure.
- Type or paste your seed in the seed box (numbers and text seeds both work), then pick your edition and version.
- Igloos are marked on the map automatically. Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, and hover an icon to see its coordinates.
- Click an icon to copy the coordinates or a ready-made /tp command, and tick "Completed" to keep track of the ones you have visited.
- Use the "Nearest" list in the sidebar to jump straight to the closest ones to spawn or to any X/Z you enter.
Questions
How do I know if the igloo has a basement?
The popup shows 'basement' when the engine can determine it; otherwise lift the white carpet in the middle of the igloo floor and look for a trapdoor.
Why is my igloo buried?
Igloos generate at the surface height of the snow, so on steep terrain they can sit partly inside a hill.
