Hybrid Mobs

Meet familiar Minecraft creatures in unexpected combinations. This public edition adds 18 hybrid mobs, each with a custom Blockbench model, texture and spawn egg, plus biome-based natural spawning for Survival.

Get the complete 35-mob edition and installation guide on tdgl.codes

What's included

  • 18 hybrid mobs and 18 individually textured spawn eggs.
  • Natural spawning in suitable Overworld, Nether and End habitats, with small groups and local density limits.
  • Basic walking, hovering or swimming behavior, with passive, neutral or hostile encounters.
  • Native Bedrock behavior/resource packs. No Beta APIs or experiment toggles are needed.

The public roster includes Skeleton–Zombie, Spider–Creeper, Ghast–Blaze, Slime–Magma, Cow–Sheep, Creeper–Enderman, Iron Golem–Warden, Fox–Wolf, Bee–Creeper, Axolotl–Guardian, Chicken–Parrot, Turtle–Mooshroom, Strider–Magma, Armadillo–Silverfish, Breeze–Blaze, Endermite–Shulker, Horse–Phantom and Dolphin–Glow Squid.

Finding the hybrids

Explore matching biomes with Mob Spawning enabled. Surface animals need sufficient light; hostile Overworld hybrids prefer darkness and require Easy difficulty or higher. Aquatic hybrids spawn in matching water habitats, Nether hybrids stay in Nether habitats, and Endermite–Shulker spawns in the End. Existing mob populations affect encounter frequency.

In Creative, search the mob names to find their eggs. Place swimming hybrids in water. In a command-enabled world you can also try /summon mob_lai:moc_xuong.

Installation

  1. Download and open the .mcaddon file with Minecraft Bedrock.
  2. Enable both Hybrid Mobs Lite packs in the world's Behavior Packs and Resource Packs.
  3. Play in Survival to find natural encounters, or use the Creative spawn eggs.
  4. Enable only one edition per world. Lite and Full use the same mob identifiers.

Public beta notes

Tested directly in Minecraft Bedrock for Windows 26.60. The manifest minimum is 1.21.80. All 35 Full-edition models and representative movement cases were viewed in the client, the Skeleton–Zombie egg was used, and natural spawning was observed for selected Overworld species. Every species in every biome, phones, consoles and multi-device multiplayer have not yet been tested individually.

Behavior is currently basic: Creeper explosions, Ghast fireballs, taming, breeding and custom loot are not implemented. The screenshot shows real add-on entities positioned in a separate Minecraft photo world; it is not a naturally spawned mixed herd.

Created by CGM. This is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

How to install

  1. Download the file below. On iOS or Android, open it from your Downloads with Minecraft; on Windows, double-click it.
  2. Minecraft imports the pack automatically. Enable it in your world’s settings under Behavior Packs or Resource Packs; an add-on usually needs both.
  3. Playing on a Realm or server? Everyone needs the same packs, and the host has to enable them.
  4. Starting a new world? Choose its seed first: the Seed Map shows villages, structures and biomes near spawn for any Bedrock seed.
