This Addon is specifically designed to work with Doublehands and Vitality, It works best when used with both of those addons, forming a trio that integrates together perfectly, all 3 addons are java parity, and nothing Unvanilla.

Sweep brings, 1:1 Java Edition 1.9 combat mechanics to Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Sweep provides, authentic weapon speeds, sweeping attacks, critical strikes, and full right-click shield combat and everything else you need in a java pvp addon!

NOTE: there are some bugs, the hotfix for this and doublehands is in the works, will be released soon, sorry for the issues!

Features

1. Weapon Attack Cooldown & Damage Scaling

• Exact Java edition 1:1 Cooldowns, Damage scaling and more. All the values are taken directly from the java edition code itself.

2. Sweeping Edge & Sweep Attacks

• Area-of-Effect Slashes: Landing a hit with a sword at greater than 90% charge while standing or walking (not sprinting, falling, climbing, or in water) triggers a sweeping attack.
• Secondary Target Damage: The primary target takes full damage, while all nearby hostile or neutral entities within a 1-block radius receive damage exactly like java.
• Visual & Audio Effects: Java sweeping particles and authentic sweep sounds.

3. Critical Strikes & Knockback Mechanics

• Authentic Critical Hits: Hitting an entity while falling downward (downward velocity, not on the ground, not climbing, not in water, not sprinting, triggers a critical strike dealing 1.5x damage. Displays java crit particles and the Java crit sound.
• Sprint Knockback & Momentum Retain: Hitting an opponent while sprinting applies an extra 1.6x knockback impulse. Your player momentum drops.
• Sharpness Scaling: Sharpness enchantment damage scales proportionally with your weapon cooldown charge rather than applying full bonus damage on zero-charge spam hits.

4. Complete Shield Parity & Right-Click Blocking

• Right-Click Sheld: You no longer need to sneak to use a shield. When holding a sword or axe in your main hand and a shield in your offhand, simply hold Right-Click to raise your shield.
• 5-Tick (0.25s) Windup Delay: Raising a shield requires 5 game ticks before blocking activates. Attacks landing during the first 0.25 seconds penetrate the block (Suggested by community)
• Authentic Shield Slowdown: While blocking, your movement speed naturally slows to 60% and sprinting is cancelled. Because this uses native engine modifiers rather than script attribute overrides, 
• Block Arc & Recoil: Shields protect against attacks coming from a 180-degree front-facing arc. Blocking deflects attacker knockback and pushes the melee attacker slightly backward. (Suggested by community on discord)

7. Projectile, Cobweb & TNT Minecart Mechanics

• TNT Minecart Detonation: Shooting a TNT minecart with a flaming arrow (via Flame bow, campfire, or fire) ignites it like java.
• Cobweb Parity: Cobwebs placed in water are waterlogged and do not wash away. Using a water bucket directly on a cobweb breaks it into string and replaces it with a water source block.
• Netherite Wind Charge Parity: Overcomes Bedrock's knockback resistance penalty on netherite armor so wind charges boost netherite-wearing players identically to unarmored players.

8. Proper Axe animations:
Axes have proper cooldown animations where they come up slowly.

9. Pack Safety Commands

• /sweep:activate: Activates Sweep right click shield
• /sweep:deactivate: Reverts all held items to vanilla minecraft:* items. ALWAYS use this before deactivating the addon to prevent item lose.
