Turn ordinary villagers into a complete trading progression system with Villager Trading Evolution!

Level villagers from Novice all the way to Ascended, unlock better trades, build reputation, complete quests, earn Trading Tokens, discover powerful equipment, and hunt down three extremely rare legendary merchants.

Vanilla villager trading still works normally — this add-on adds its own progression and trading menu on top.

📈 Level Up Your Villagers

Every villager can progress through 10 different ranks:

Novice → Apprentice → Journeyman → Expert → Master → Elite → Royal → Mythic → Legendary → Ascended

Trades inside the add-on menu give Trading XP. Fill the XP bar to increase the villager's rank and unlock new offers.

Higher ranks take significantly longer to reach, making powerful villagers something you actually have to work for.

💰 143 Trading Offers

Villager Trading Evolution includes 143 offers across all 13 villager professions.

Each profession has its own style and rewards:

• Armorer – armor and shields
• Weaponsmith – swords and powerful weapons
• Toolsmith – pickaxes, axes and mining tools
• Farmer – farming tools, seeds and food
• Librarian – enchanted books and experience items
• Cleric – brewing materials and experience
• Fletcher – custom bows and ammunition
• Plus Butcher, Cartographer, Fisherman, Leatherworker, Mason and Shepherd trades

Offers have limited daily stock and higher-rank villagers unlock much more valuable items.

⭐ Reputation System

Every trade improves your personal reputation with that villager.

Reputation ranks include:

• Stranger
• Familiar Customer
• Trusted Trader
• Village Partner
• Royal Customer
• Legendary Trading Partner

Higher reputation can give you better emerald prices, with discounts reaching up to 10%.

📜 Villager Quests

Every villager can offer a delivery quest.

Complete quests to earn:

• Trading XP
• Reputation
• Emeralds
• Trading Tokens

There are 20 different quests, ranging from simple deliveries to high-level challenges such as The Royal Contract and The Ascension Rite.

🪙 Trading Tokens

There are 7 tiers of Trading Tokens:

Bronze → Silver → Gold → Royal → Mythic → Legendary → Ascended

Tokens can be earned through quests, rank rewards and legendary merchants.

The strongest equipment requires high-tier tokens together with valuable materials.

Several armor pieces use custom 3D models visible directly on the player.

Designs include:

• Emerald and gold details

The armor focuses on special abilities rather than simply making vanilla Netherite useless.

👑 Legendary Merchants

Three extremely rare merchants can appear in your world.

💚 The Emerald King

A royal merchant wearing green and gold clothing with a massive emerald crown.

He can offer rare Trading Tokens, decorations, mythic gear and legendary equipment.

🌑 The Shadow Trader

A mysterious purple merchant with glowing eyes.

He only appears at night and stays for a short time.

His trades can include rare End-related resources, enchanted books, Mythic Tokens and the Shadow Blade.

🎒 The Golden Wanderer

A travelling merchant with a huge backpack and golden clothing.

He explores the Overworld and offers a random selection of resources, adventure gear and Trading Tokens.

🏆 Rank Rewards

The first time you raise a villager to:

Elite, Royal, Mythic, Legendary or Ascended

you can claim special one-time rewards.

These can include:

• Emeralds
• Trading Tokens
• Valuable items
• Special decorations
• Ascended rewards

Reaching Ascended triggers a special celebration with golden and emerald effects.

📖 Merchant's Ledger

Craft the Merchant's Ledger with:

Book Emerald

Use it to access an overview of nearby villagers, quests and rewards.

The Emerald Trading Table provides access to the same overview system.

🎮 How to Play

1. Open the menu
Sneak interact with a villager.

2. Start trading
Use the Trades menu to complete offers and earn Trading XP.

3. Level up
Fill the XP bar to unlock new villager ranks and better trades.

4. Complete quests
Earn reputation, tokens, XP and special rewards.

📦 Installation

1. Download the .mcaddon
2. Open it with Minecraft
3. Create or edit a world
4. Enable Villager Trading Evolution – Behavior
5. Enable Villager Trading Evolution – Resources
6. Start playing

No experimental toggles are required.

Made for Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.26.50 or newer.

⚠️ Good to Know

Trading XP is earned through the add-on's own trading menu.

Normal vanilla villager trading still works, but vanilla trades do not give Villager Trading Evolution XP.

Restocks and quest cooldowns use Minecraft's in-game day counter.

Version 1.1.0 is the Simple Edition, and balancing such as cooldowns, chances and spawn rates may be adjusted in future updates.
