How to use the Buried Treasure Finder
Buried treasure generates in beach and snowy beach chunks at fixed positions (X 9, Z 9 within the chunk). Use the finder to skip the treasure map and dig straight down to the chest.
- Type or paste your seed in the seed box (numbers and text seeds both work), then pick your edition and version.
- Buried treasure are marked on the map automatically. Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, and hover an icon to see its coordinates.
- Click an icon to copy the coordinates or a ready-made /tp command, and tick "Completed" to keep track of the ones you have visited.
- Use the "Nearest" list in the sidebar to jump straight to the closest ones to spawn or to any X/Z you enter.
Questions
Where in the chunk is the chest?
Always at block 9,9 inside the chunk, buried a few blocks under the surface (usually under sand or gravel).
Does buried treasure always contain a Heart of the Sea?
Yes, every buried treasure chest contains exactly one Heart of the Sea, needed to craft a conduit.
