How to use the Ocean Ruin Finder
Ocean ruins generate as small clusters of stone or sandstone structures underwater. Since 1.20 they contain suspicious sand and gravel for archaeology.
- Type or paste your seed in the seed box (numbers and text seeds both work), then pick your edition and version.
- Ocean ruins are marked on the map automatically. Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, and hover an icon to see its coordinates.
- Click an icon to copy the coordinates or a ready-made /tp command, and tick "Completed" to keep track of the ones you have visited.
- Use the "Nearest" list in the sidebar to jump straight to the closest ones to spawn or to any X/Z you enter.
Questions
What's the difference between warm and cold ruins?
Warm ocean ruins are sandstone and appear in warm and lukewarm oceans; cold ruins are stone brick in other oceans. The type follows the biome.
Are ruins big?
Ruins are small (a single structure or a cluster of up to nine). The marker is the cluster origin.
