Orbital Arsenal – Uplink Remote
Call down orbital strikes with a single remote. Mark a spot with your crosshair, press the button, and watch a cinematic cutscene as weapons in deep space wake up, charge and fire at your target.
10 strikes, each with its own cutscene, sound design and world-changing aftermath, two orbital tools (Orbital Drop and Recon Drone), a redstone Launch Console, and a Shield Projector, Radar Station and Decoy Beacon to defend against strikes.
🎬 Cinematic space cutscenes
- Every strike starts with a huge, detailed space scene: Earth with oceans, deserts, mountain ranges, storm systems and clouds, the Sun, Saturn and its rings, the Moon, asteroids, a black hole, a comet, nebulae, a spiral galaxy and the Milky Way.
- Real 3D in space: planets, moons, asteroids, the orbital platforms and the tungsten spike are true 3D models. They rotate, catch the sunlight and show day and night sides from every angle.
- Colossal orbital weapons: the Arsenal Lance hangs over Earth with its barrel pointing straight down, a mirror dish catching the sun, ten accelerator coils, solar wings, radiators, attitude thrusters puffing as it aims, blinking navigation lights and little service drones flying past for scale. The Saturn Spike fires from a tall mass-driver tower in Saturn orbit that vents steam as it charges. Specks of dust drift past the lens when the camera moves.
- A living planet: city lights glow on Earth's night side, sunsets burn along the day-night line, the thin blue line of the atmosphere shines around the edge and the Sun glints off the oceans. Saturn's rings are solid bands with gaps, and the planet's shadow falls across them.
- Real explosions: every impact bursts into rolling fireballs, a white shock shell and a wall of dust race out along the ground, the flash really lights up the land at night, and a column of smoke rises over the crater afterwards (a cold white mist for the Cryo Lance). The biggest strikes throw up a mushroom cloud, the Saturn Spike leaves a vapour trail hanging in the sky, and the beams pour down with energy streaming along them.
- Film-style camera work: slow cranes, fly-bys along the hulls, long-lens and wide-lens shots, a dolly zoom that makes UY Scuti swell up behind our Sun, a dive straight down the guide laser before the beam lands, slow orbits around the crater afterwards, lens flares, hand-held sway and a lens punch with a flash on every big hit.
- The sky gives it away: everyone nearby sees a strike coming, cutscene or not. The orbital weapon appears as a bright star sliding overhead, its mirror flashing in the sun now and then, and just before the hit light breaks through the clouds and shafts of it fall around the target.
- Watch alone or together: by default only you see the cutscene. Turn on Show cutscenes to nearby players in the remote's menu and everyone within 64 blocks watches it with you; anyone can sneak to skip it for themselves. It plays far above the build limit, so blocks never get in the way.
- Original sound design: explosions with flying debris and echoes, rolling thunder, sonic booms, energy cannon shots, beam roar, charge-ups, rocket launches and burning meteors, all made from scratch for this addon.
☀️ OA-1 Helios Lance
A mirror-array cannon hanging over Earth gathers sunlight in its mirror dish and focuses it into one lance. A red guide laser marks your target; 18 seconds later the beam lands and erases the entire column of the world inside the circle, from the sky down to the void.
🪐 OA-2 Saturn Spike
A tungsten spike is loaded into a mass-driver tower high above Saturn, its accelerator rings wake one by one, and it is fired. It falls out of the sky in total silence. A shock ring flattens the land around a molten crater, and the sonic boom only reaches you after the wave has passed. The spike stays planted from bedrock to the build limit, and you can mine it back with a netherite pickaxe.
✨ OA-3 Orion's Fall
The constellation Orion is projected onto the land and its seven stars lock in the sky one by one. Then they fall: every star blasts a crater as wide as it is bright and leaves a glowing Fallen Starstone. The lines of the figure burn into the ground as glowing trenches before the whole constellation flares.
🌈 OA-4 Gravity Rift
A rainbow cage splits the land into 64 cells. A rift opens in the sky, a machine of rotating cubes comes through and slams onto the square, and every cell is torn out of the ground and thrown into the sky, spinning as it goes. A tiered pit with a burning rainbow grid is left behind, with a lattice cube hanging above it.
🎯 OA-5 Sweep Lance
The cannon switches to tracking mode: from orbit a targeting laser scans the ground track, then the beam is dragged across Earth, leaving a burning, smoking line while the camera pans to follow it. When the beam lands, you steer it: for 5 seconds the lance follows your crosshair across the land, burning a molten channel and destroying everything it touches.
☄️ OA-6 Meteor Shower
A comet is pulled off course and breaks apart above your target. For 10 seconds meteors rain down across the zone, then a final giant one hits the center. Every crater leaves Meteorite Ore: mine it for iron, gold and sometimes diamonds!
🕳️ OA-7 Singularity Seed
A contained micro black hole is dropped on your target. It drags mobs and players toward its core while it eats the ground around it, then collapses and detonates, leaving a perfect spherical void lined with obsidian.
🔴 OA-8 UY Scuti
The camera pulls back from our Sun to reveal UY Scuti, one of the largest stars known, towering behind it. The relay platform catches one of its flares and drops a piece of the star on your target: a red drop falls out of the sky, pulses three times (each pulse melts a wider bowl and throws everything back), then goes nova. The crater is lined with glowing Hypergiant Slag, magma and crying obsidian.
⚡ OA-11 EMP Pulse
Ion arcs crawl over the cannon's mirror, leap between its coils and out to its solar wings, a crackling corona builds around the muzzle, the beam comes down as a writhing bolt, and from orbit you watch the land around the impact flicker and go dark under an aurora. Then the ion array discharges over your target: a violet pulse and a storm of lightning burst across the zone. Every Shield Projector, Radar Station, Launch Console and Decoy Beacon inside goes dark for 30 seconds and shields lose all their charge. The pulse passes straight through Shield Domes, so the classic move is: EMP first, then strike. Living things are only stunned (slowness, mining fatigue, nausea).
❄️ OA-12 Cryo Lance
Ice crystals grow across the cannon's mirror and cold vapour bleeds from its coils, then a cryogenic lens fires a beam colder than space inside a sheath of freezing mist, and a white frost bloom glittering with ice crystals spreads where it hits Earth while the spent lens vents its coolant. The land inside the circle freezes solid: blue ice in the middle, packed ice around it and snow at the edge. Water turns to ice, lava to obsidian, ice spikes burst out of the ground and a blizzard falls for 12 seconds. Everything caught inside is frozen in place and hurt.
🛰️ Orbital tools
🔵 OA-9 Orbital Drop
Travel by orbit. Set a landing X and Z (or use the block you're aiming at), fire, and the platform locks a blue transport beam onto you. Two seconds later the beam hits, you vanish, and you fall out of the sky at the chosen spot with a blue trail, landing with a shockwave that knocks nearby mobs back. You take no damage from the fall.
📡 OA-10 Recon Drone
The platform drops a small recon drone to Y 100 straight above you and the camera switches to it, looking straight down. Fly it with W A S D (up to 96 blocks away) to scout the area. A marker on the ground shows the spot under the drone and its coordinates, perfect for picking a landing spot for Orbital Drop or a target for a Launch Console. Sneak to let it go, and when the flight ends (10–30 s, your choice) the drone blows up.
🖥️ Launch Console
A block that fires orbital strikes on a redstone signal. Perfect for traps, map events, minigames and boss arenas.
- Use the console while holding an Uplink Remote to put it inside. The console uses the remote's charges.
- Use it again to pick the strike, power, damage and speed, and set the target: type the coordinates (or leave Y on surface), or press Mark target, walk anywhere, look at the spot (a red reticle shows where it lands) and sneak.
- Power it with a lever, button, pressure plate, redstone dust or a repeater and the strike comes down on the target.
- You can charge the remote inside with redstone, test it with Fire now and take the remote back out at any time. Breaking the console drops the remote.
⛨ Shield Projector
A block that raises an energy dome (radius 8–48) over your base.
- Every orbital strike aimed inside the dome is caught in the sky: the beam slams into the dome and bursts harmlessly, and the dome uses 1 charge.
- Charge it with redstone (10 redstone = 1 charge, up to 10). With no charge left the dome goes down.
- It catches strikes from remotes and Launch Consoles alike, so on servers you can defend your base from other players' strikes. Turn it off from its menu when you want to fire inside it yourself.
📡 Radar Station
An early-warning block for your base. Set its detection radius (16–256 blocks) and whenever an orbital strike is aimed inside it:
- it sounds an alarm (can be muted) and gives a redstone pulse with every beep until the impact, so you can close doors, raise walls or start any contraption automatically,
- every player inside the radius gets a warning with the strike name, the impact coordinates and a live countdown.
It also reports strikes caught by a Shield Dome. Use Test alarm in its menu to try your setup.
🎯 Decoy Beacon
A one-shot lure. Every orbital strike aimed within its lure radius (8–64 blocks) is pulled off course onto the beacon instead of your base, and the beacon disarms after catching one. A cheaper answer than a shield: place it away from your builds and let the strike land on it.
⚡ Charge system
- The Uplink Remote holds 10 charges. Every strike uses 1.
- When it's empty you can't fire, but the menu still opens.
- Press ⚡ Charge in the menu: every 10 redstone in your inventory refills 1 charge.
- The charge is stored on the remote itself and shown in its tooltip.
🎮 How to use
- Use (right-click): fire the selected strike at your crosshair (up to 240 blocks)
- Sneak Use: open the remote menu
- Sneak during a cutscene: skip it (the strike still happens)
In the menu you can pick a strike and adjust it:
- Size / Power (Helios beam radius 6–64, other strikes 0.5×–3×)
- Landing spot for Orbital Drop and flight time for the Recon Drone
- Damage per hit from 2 up to ∞ (∞ erases everything)
- Speed from 0.3× to 3× (the whole strike and its cutscene)
- Cutscenes on or off

⚠️ Good to know
- No experimental toggles needed.
- These strikes really destroy terrain. Back up your world before testing near your builds!
- Very large sizes (radius above 40, power 2× and up) can lag weaker devices. Default settings are safe.
- Standing inside a strike zone kills you in Survival. In Creative you're pulled out (Helios, UY Scuti), spared (Orion) or not pulled in (Singularity).
- Hit the leftover Gravity Rift cube to remove it.

The author’s notes for the file uploaded .
Orbital Arsenal 1.14.0 - Omens in the sky
Every player around can now see a strike coming, even with cutscenes off or when the strike comes from a Launch Console.
- The orbital weapon appears in the sky as a bright star that slides toward the point straight above the target, twinkling, with its mirror flashing in the sun now and then.
- Just before the hit, light breaks through the clouds above the target and shafts of it fall around the zone, wider and brighter as the moment gets closer.
- Each strike has its own colour: gold for the Helios and Sweep Lances, ember for the Saturn Spike, orange for the Meteor Shower, violet for the Singularity Seed and EMP Pulse, red for UY Scuti and ice blue for the Cryo Lance.
- Orion's Fall and Gravity Rift keep their own sky shows.
How to install
- Download the file below. On iOS or Android, open it from your Downloads with Minecraft; on Windows, double-click it.
- Minecraft imports the pack automatically. Enable it in your world’s settings under Behavior Packs or Resource Packs; an add-on usually needs both.
- Playing on a Realm or server? Everyone needs the same packs, and the host has to enable them.
- Starting a new world? Choose its seed first: the Seed Map shows villages, structures and biomes near spawn for any Bedrock seed.
