ACHIEVEMENTS FRIENDLY

Sanity: Descent Into Madness

A Minecraft mod that brings the sanity mechanic from Don't Starve into Minecraft.

This is a bedrock port of "Sanity: Descent Into Madness" - Made by @PnTMC

Original "Sanity: Descent Into Madness" Java Mod - Made & Developed by @croissantnova

*Thanks to @croissantnova for cooking such a great mod XD

Description

This mod adds a new vital for you to manage - sanity, your mental health scale. Failing to keep your sanity at high levels may have drastic consequences on your survival, including fatal outcome.

As your sanity drops, you start hearing and seeing things, your vision becomes muddy and blurry, as well as your mind cloudy, until eventually you start getting attacked by the creations of your own mind, inner entities.

Certain mobs will also react accordingly to your unstable mental condition...

There are multiple ways to restore your sanity, as well as multiple ways to lose it. Visit the wiki to see them all. (Wiki by @croissantnova)

The first thing you might want to do, however, is to craft a garland from any small flowers you encounter on your journey. This nice little accessory should help you stay sane for a bit longer. Be wary, though, that water makes it wither away much faster!

Details

The mod is highly configurable, you can use command /sdimconfig see configuration panel

You can edit them to your liking

How to install

  1. Download the file below. On iOS or Android, open it from your Downloads with Minecraft; on Windows, double-click it.
  2. Minecraft imports the pack automatically. Enable it in your world’s settings under Behavior Packs or Resource Packs; an add-on usually needs both.
  3. Playing on a Realm or server? Everyone needs the same packs, and the host has to enable them.
  4. Starting a new world? Choose its seed first: the Seed Map shows villages, structures and biomes near spawn for any Bedrock seed.
