Transform the natural atmosphere of your Minecraft Bedrock world with Wild and Alive, an addon designed to make nature feel more alive and immersive. Starting with Version 1.0: Interactive Ground Foliage, this addon introduces interactive grass and ground foliage that responds to its surroundings, adding more life and movement to the world as you explore.

  • Tall Grass
  • Fern
  • Large Fern

🪴GRASS DENSITY OPTION

Includes a Normal Density Grass subpack option for worlds with too much grass or devices that struggle with dense foliage. You can switch to Normal Density Grass through the Behavior Pack's subpack settings to reduce grass density and help improve performance.

🚧  WHAT'S NEXT?

Not all ground foliage is interactive yet. Some plants have not been implemented and will receive interactive behavior in future updates. Wild and Alive is an ongoing project, and more improvements to Minecraft's natural environment are planned for future releases.

📌  IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Minecraft : Bedrock Edition
  • Achievements: Friendly
  • Performance Friendly, but how smooth foliage animation is depending on how fast your device is
  • Optional Configuration: Normal Density Grass subpack available in the Behavior Pack settings.
  • Current Version: 1.0 — Interactive Ground Foliage

How to install

  1. Download the file below. On iOS or Android, open it from your Downloads with Minecraft; on Windows, double-click it.
  2. Minecraft imports the pack automatically. Enable it in your world’s settings under Behavior Packs or Resource Packs; an add-on usually needs both.
  3. Playing on a Realm or server? Everyone needs the same packs, and the host has to enable them.
  4. Starting a new world? Choose its seed first: the Seed Map shows villages, structures and biomes near spawn for any Bedrock seed.
