How to use the Ocean Monument Finder
Ocean monuments only generate in deep ocean biomes with ocean all around. This finder marks every monument so you can plan a guardian farm or hunt for sponge rooms.
- Type or paste your seed in the seed box (numbers and text seeds both work), then pick your edition and version.
- Ocean monuments are marked on the map automatically. Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, and hover an icon to see its coordinates.
- Click an icon to copy the coordinates or a ready-made /tp command, and tick "Completed" to keep track of the ones you have visited.
- Use the "Nearest" list in the sidebar to jump straight to the closest ones to spawn or to any X/Z you enter.
Questions
How big is an ocean monument?
58×58 blocks and 23 blocks tall. The marker is the monument's center; the entrance faces south.
Does every monument have a sponge room?
No. Sponge rooms are optional; roughly two thirds of monuments have at least one. The map cannot predict the interior.
