The Halloween Mash-up resource pack is nice, but it's missing many features from its Legacy Console Edition counterpart. This patch restores the missing features on Bedrock Edition.

Screenshots
SpoilerStained glass, wool, and a few other textures are different in the Halloween 2013 and 2015 modes.
The Halloween 2013 menus use a purple-green color scheme as opposed to Halloween 2015's orange one.
The seven Halloween mash-up songs will appear below the Music Discs section in the music player if you use a compatible music player pack at the same time.
Flowers and other animated blocks, which can jam out to the music player with you, no longer fade between frames.
The patch adds support for Ray Tracing (RTX). Enjoy realistic lighting and shadows with a classic Halloween flair!
The Halloween Mash-up Patch only works when applied above the Halloween Mash-up resource pack. Without the Mash-up, the patch won't work correctly. The Halloween Mash-up pack has to be downloaded from the Marketplace.
To add the Halloween Mash-up music to the music player, apply the Halloween Mash-up Patch above the Halloween Mash-up resource pack and a compatible music player pack in the Global Resources screen. You can use either Music Plus or Music Player UI Lite for the music player. For Java Aspects and Console Aspects compatibility, apply Java or Console Aspects below both the Mash-up and the Patch.
On mobile devices, Minecraft will warn you that your device does not support ray tracing. This is normal — the Halloween Mash-up Patch works with or without ray tracing!
Please note: This pack is NOT a copy of the Halloween Mash-up Pack. You have to apply the Patch above the original Mash-up from the Marketplace for the pack to work. This is to ensure the patch doesn't infringe on copyright. The Halloween Mash-up Patch does not redistribute the Halloween Mash-up.

Changes in the Resurrection Update (2.3.0)
Released October 31, 2025
- Temperate Chicken, Pig, Cow, and Mooshroom now have the intended textures
- Sugar cane no longer has biome tinting
- Dry foliage (leaf litter) colors are now darker to match leaves
- Sand, obsidian, leaves, and the respawn anchor now have the same shading and ambient occlusion as Console Edition
- Potion and tipped arrow textures now exactly match Console Edition (Thanks, alfombracitarioj on Discord!)
- Spawn eggs now use the intended textures (Thanks, alfombracitarioj on Discord!)
- Happy Ghast and Copper Golem spawn eggs use unique colors to match the updates for other 4J Studios packs, like Plastic and City
- Happy Ghast Spawn Egg colors:
- Base: #FCFCFC
- Overlay: #EA7C70
- Copper Golem Spawn Egg colors:
- Base: #C26B4C
- Overlay: #6EC59F
- Mesa grass and foliage colors now match Console Edition
Compatibility:
- Bundle UI slot background and highlight textures are now compatible with Aspects 6.4.0
- Removed unused obsidian shading and dirt variant textures
Halloween 2013:
- Butcher Villager aprons now have red blood instead of green like Console Edition
- Music playlists now match 1.21.90
Fixes:
- Copper torch flame particles are no longer invisible
- Lingering potion particles now use the original colors
- Resistance effect particles now use the original color
- Ambient music once again plays every 20 to 60 seconds
- This bug was caused by MCPE-223046. The delay values in music_definitions.json do not translate into seconds correctly in-game.
- Halloween 2013: Biome-specific ambient music once again plays in-game
- This bug was caused by MCPE-219051. Almost all client biome files are missing the required biome_music component.
- Halloween 2013: Blue boss bars are now replaced with the Halloween boss bar
- Sculk variant textures are now animated the same way as normal sculk when using Aspects 6.4.0
- Updated client_biome files to include all components up to 1.21.110
- biomes_client.json will remain in the pack to support version-locked worlds, like the Halloween Mash-up world
Pack:
- Changelog is now stored in Markdown format instead of plaintext inside the pack
- Updated the minimum game version required to use the pack to 1.21.110, which means this pack is no longer compatible with earlier versions
- Updated pack description to clarify usage on the Halloween Mash-up world
- Changed pack UUID to be compatible with earlier versions of this pack
- Updated pack version to 2.3.0
Notes:
- As of 1.21.90, it is no longer possible to enable Vibrant Visuals while a Marketplace texture pack is applied, unless that pack has been updated with support. This makes it impossible to use the Halloween Mash-up + Patch with Vibrant Visuals, and it likely never will be possible since the Halloween Mash-up was discontinued after Bundles of Bravery.
- Atmospherics and point lights for Vibrant Visuals have been removed in this update, since they are no longer accessible. Ray tracing is still supported!
- The spawn egg, potion, and tipped arrow textures in this update were made possible by Alfombra's MinecraftTool, a new program to quickly render textures from templates. It can handle potions, tipped arrows, spawn eggs, and any other texture set you want to configure. Check out Alfombra's MinecraftTool here: https://github.com/Alfombracitario/Alfombra-s-MinecraftTool/releases
How to install
- Download the file below. On iOS or Android, open it from your Downloads with Minecraft; on Windows, double-click it.
- Minecraft imports the pack automatically. Enable it in your world’s settings under Behavior Packs or Resource Packs; an add-on usually needs both.
- Playing on a Realm or server? Everyone needs the same packs, and the host has to enable them.
- Starting a new world? Choose its seed first: the Seed Map shows villages, structures and biomes near spawn for any Bedrock seed.
